Description:  Jake Krancic from Utica, Illinois will share his story of sailing America’s Great Loop.   The Great Loop is a 6,000-nautical-mile adventure that circumnavigates the eastern third of the United States, which includes the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, the New York and Canadian Canals, the Great Lakes, Inland Rivers, and the Gulf of Mexico.  All “Loopers,” in their own boats, pass through the Illinois Valley on the Illinois River on their way around the loop.
